Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again. ~Stephen Grellet

Pumpkin Patch

Even though it is a LOT colder here than it was in California, I don't think I would have enjoyed my pumpkin patch experience NEARLY as much! Something tells me that snuggling up by a bonfire with a pumpkin spice latte just isn't the same when it is 80 degrees. Now, I will say, that I probably would have been more comfortable had I taken my mom up on her offer for gloves, but it really wasn't THAT bad! I had myself a caramel apple as well which was delicious :o) I didn't actually roast myself any marshmallows or hot dogs, but probably should have since now I have to "settle" for microwave popcorn (which is one of those foods I think I could live on, but it definitely is no "s'mores"!)

REALLY big rocking chair! Fun!

Well, I finished my vacation laundry, but still have a bit of a mess in my living room (probably didn't help that I came home to a mess...I guess that is why you are supposed to go on vacation with a clean house!) I suppose I should either start preparing for my afternoon meeting, my evening bible study, or go to bed...good night!
