Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
I expect to pass through this world but once. Any good thing, therefore, that I can do, or any kindness I can show to any fellow human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it for I shall not pass this way again. ~Stephen Grellet

Early to Bed

Well, it is nearly 8:30, but I honestly think I'm going to head to bed. My house remains a mess. I haven't looked for my Christmas cards so I can address and mail them. I have laundry in the dryer from...not sure when I did laundry...whenever that was. I'm surprised that I know today is Saturday. My nose is starting to be "drippy" and I've been sneezing, so hopefully some "extra sleep" will keep any potential "illness" away. I'm working five of the next seven days and believe I have a meeting on one of my days off (the only day I have off is Christmas Eve...unless I end up getting Monday or Wednesday off if we are over-staffed). The money will be helpful of course, but my health and well-being is definitely as/more important than money :o)

I actually cooked dinner, so as soon as I put away the leftovers, I'm off to bed.
Good night.
